We expand its executive team and appoint Lino Simoni to a key role in driving technological advancement

We appoint Lino Simoni as Director of Delivery & Customer Success and member of the Executive Board. With the newly formed interdisciplinary technology team, he is driving the further development of the Cyber Resilience Shield and long-term customer success.

Zurich, June 30, 2025 – We appoint Lino Simoni as Director of Delivery & Customer Success and member of the Executive Board. Simoni, who joined Bug Bounty Switzerland just over three years ago, holds a Master’s degree in Data Science and is an experienced bug bounty expert. He brings a rare combination of technological expertise, leadership experience, and a strong customer focus.

As of April 1, 2025, Bug Bounty Switzerland has merged its Security Engineering, Software Engineering, and Customer & Hacker Success units into a single team. With this reorganization, the Swiss pioneer in ethical hacking has adapted its structures to meet the evolving needs of its clients. The tighter integration of technological development and customer focus opens up new opportunities for advancing the Cyber Resilience Shield – an innovative, AI – orchestrated, and automated security testing product.

The new Technology Team led by Simoni is made up of engineers and focuses on developing technologies powered by artificial intelligence. A key focus lies in automating and scaling delivery processes. Simoni’s responsibilities include leading and further developing the interdisciplinary team, strategically managing delivery and customer success processes, and coordinating customer and technology-related matters around the Cyber Resilience Shield. In the area of technical product development, he works closely with CTO and Co-Founder Lukas Heppler, who is responsible for the company’s overarching technology strategy. Despite the strong focus on future technologies, the customer remains at the center: the team’s performance is measured strictly by customer success—ensuring and measuring it is another key responsibility of Simoni’s.
