Bug Bounty Switzerland appoints Stefan Velikov as Head of Sales and member of the Executive Board. The appointment comes in response to the company’s strong growth and the success of the Cyber Resilience Shield. With his expertise in complex sales processes and scaling organizations, Velikov will support Bug Bounty Switzerland in managing the high demand for its AI‑orchestrated security‑testing product and in driving international expansion.
Zurich, 16 February 2026 – Bug Bounty Switzerland has appointed Stefan Velikov as Head of Sales effective 1 February 2026. In this key role, Velikov strengthens the executive leadership team of Switzerland’s pioneer in security testing with ethical hackers. One of his top priorities will be scaling the sales team, which includes establishing sustainable structures and reproducible processes within the sales organization to support the company’s transformation from a start‑up to a scale‑up and to enable both national and international growth. For this important task, Velikov can draw on extensive expertise in complex sales processes as well as his wide network within the Swiss venture and start‑up ecosystem.
In 2017, Stefan Velikov founded VIABZ, a company that developed an app for corporate health promotion, and successfully scaled it until its sale in 2022. Since then, he has been actively involved in the Swiss start‑up scene, including work with the non‑profit organization Swisspreneur. He also built the Sales Velocity Collective, Switzerland’s largest B2B sales community, which has been awarding the Swiss Sales Trophy for B2B software sales talent since 2025.
Supporting the Next Growth Phase and International Expansion
Bug Bounty Switzerland looks back on a successful year in which the company completed its transition from start‑up to scale‑up. A major contributor to this achievement has been the Cyber Resilience Shield, an innovative security‑testing product launched in November 2024. Velikov’s mission will be to further develop the existing sales team and multiply its size by the end of 2027 in order to meet strong demand and drive additional revenue growth. At the same time, the company will now systematically advance its international expansion.
Establishing an efficient and scalable sales organization with a clear setup is the next milestone in realizing Bug Bounty Switzerland’s vision: redefining security testing and positioning itself as a leading provider.
“I see a rare combination of timing, talent, and technology at Bug Bounty Switzerland,”
says Stefan Velikov.
“I am particularly excited about building a scalable go‑to‑market organization together with the team and preparing the company for its next growth phase and internationalization.”
“Stefan Velikov’s strong drive, broad network, and extensive experience in building scalable sales systems and high‑performance teams make him the ideal fit for our scale‑up,”
says Sandro Nafzger, CEO & Co‑Founder of Bug Bounty Switzerland.
“Stefan is joining us at a pivotal moment—at a time when our company is transforming, and the way security testing is conducted in the age of artificial intelligence is evolving.”
